For example, if you want to sell only Disney vacations you may do so, but if you only want to sell cruise vacations you may also do that!

Is Being a Travel Agent Hard?

Once you join the Goldgell Getaways Team, there is a lot to learn at first. Each new agent is assigned a mentor to help guide them through the process. We have Goldgell Getaways specific training in addition to training for each area of travel you wish to learn and sell. 

You will need a good sales personality. Although most clients are eager to book a vacation, you still have to be a ‘salesman.’ 

We will help you learn about Disney destinations and all other vacations & destinations around the world, but you need to be active in your community and social circles so you have a group of people that already know you and that will want to plan their vacation with you.

Being a Goldgell Getaways travel agent does take a lot of work. While the majority of our agents do this part-time, the hours and effort you put in are all up to you.

All of our services at Goldgell Getaways are completely free to clients, we are their complimentary concierge service. Goldgell Getaways Travel Agents earn commissions from sales of hotels, resorts, cruises, travel insurance, and more. As with any commission-based opportunity, the more you put into your business, the more you can make.
